Growing 2 to 3′ tall, with lustrous, lance-shaped evergreen leaves. Spreads slowly by suckering and looks good naturalized around large rocks. Wider and darker green leaves than the species. Best with regular water, in partial to full shade, in humus-rich, well-drained soil.
