Hakonechloa macra Albo-striata
The white-variegated hakone grass has been unjustly overshadowed by its gold-leaved kin. Its handsome striped foliage provides a bright accent in a shady garden. The effect is similar to that of ribbon grass (Phalaris), without the invasive tendency. Grows larger tha ‘Aureola’. 2’+ x 2’+
