Dennstaedtia punctilobula Hay Scented Fern
Fronds of Dennstaedtia punctilobula release a fragrance reminiscent of fresh mown hay when abraded, hence the common name.
Best in partial to full shade, but tolerates full sun if given enough water. Also very tolerant of poor soils.
Excellent for naturalizing.
Wildlife resistant once established.
